Burns&Beyond is an annual festival celebrating the life and legacy of Robert Burns through arts and culture. Audiences can discover the very best in creative talents from across Scotland and beyond in some of the most well-known venues and buildings throughout Edinburgh city centre.
Working closely with the organisers’ marketing team, we conceived a festival name, logo and identity for all promotional material. With an extensive and broad ranging festival programme, the need for a design format that could present many sections of information without feeling overwhelming was vital.
The ampersand in the logo works as a device to tie Burns to the many different cultural experiences on offer throughout the festival.
The design was applied to plethora of different formats and purposes, including a website, social media, posters, adverts, leaflets, outdoor signage and on-site branding.
